Well here goes-where do I begin with this fantastic series?
This book starts with Mac (a smart glitzy blonde at this point) finds out that her sister was murdered in Ireland. By traveling to Ireland, Mac tries to find her siste's killer. Along the way, she realizes that she is part of an ancient line of 'sidhe-seers' or people who can see fae. Of course, she meets this mysterious man who she doesn't trust and we, as readers, start to have fantasies about! :P I digress....This first book is all about Mac discovering who she is and it also reveals a little bit of what she is going to have to go through to solve this murder. A war is coming between man and fae and Mac just stumbled onto things she hasn't even begun to dream of (or in this case, have nightmares).
For those of you who have read it or will be reading it: Is it wrong to get a spark of sexiness from Derek O'Bannion? I think it has something to do with Irish bad boys? Yes? No?
Favorite part of the book: Barrons painting Mac's nails-you'll see
Grossest part of the book: The papers floating in the wind...creepy
SIDE NOTE: This series is 5 books long. The last book is not out until January of 2011. So don't despair! Happy Reading!!
